On July 10, 2016, one Seth Rich, who was active in defending voting rights, died in what police consider a botched robbery. In an apparent a clear effort to cover his collaboration with Russian Federation hackers, Julian Assange has used a conspiracy theory first cooked up by a website which specializes in such theories to artfully hint to brazenly claim that Seth Rich was his actual source and was killed as a result.
